I taught a bracelet making class last night (one of my favorites to teach!). Since the day started with -7 degrees, I figured I should make something warm and comforting for treats. I ended up making my favorite shortbread recipe, and added Wild Orange essential oil to it (comment below if you want the recipe). I also made this incredible Cranberry Spiced Toddy - inspired by an Olivelle recipe! I say “inspired by” because the recipe called for apple juice and I totally forgot that! My version turned out pretty tasty, though...
2 cups cranberry juice 2 cups red wine 1/4 cup bourbon 1 tablespoon maple syrup 2 tablespoons Olivelle’s Cranberry Spice Balsamic Vinegar 2 drops Wild Orange essential oil 1 drop Cassia essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer. Enjoy!
