As the weather warms up, and we become more active, don’t forget to replenish those electrolytes! After a day of hiking the high country, I need something besides water. I have a real hard time with most of the popular, commercially produced electrolyte drinks - they leave a really weird, artificial aftertaste that I just can’t handle. So, I’ve started making my own!
40 ounces filtered water
Juice of 2-3 citrus fruits
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon pink salt
2 drops Clementine or Tangerine essential oil
