Facial Steamer
Saturday’s are for self care, right?! One thing I love making is a facial steamer. It’s a great way to hydrate your skin (especially to help heal your skin after all this extra time in the sun!), and are easy to make...
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
20-30 drops essential oil(s), like Lavender, Magnolia, Tea Tree or Rose
As you combine the ingredients, spray with witch hazel. You want a consistency like damp sand. Press into your silicone molds. Let dry for 12-24 hours.
To use: Place 1-2 steamers in a bowl of hot water. Close your eyes, put your face over the bowl and drape a towel over your head (to hold in the steam). Enjoy for up to 20 minutes. Follow with toner and moisturizer.
