Anyone else anxious to start digging in their gardens??! The weather is turning so pretty (60 degrees today!) and I just want to get in my yard and start cleaning it up...and figuring out where to put my new cutting garden!!! I also need to get my vegetable containers ready to receive new plants, when I'm able to put them in the ground (not until Memorial Weekend, up here).
Sometimes, it's hard to get your hands scrubbed clean of all that fresh soil. Here's a great scrub to keep on hand:
1/2 cup white sugar 3 tablespoons castile soap 1 teaspoon almond oil 7 drops Clary Sage essential oil 5 drops Melaleuca essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until well combined. Pour into a glass lidded jar. To use, take a handful of soap and scrub hands; rinse with warm water.
