Puppy Panic

It’s that time of year again...where it seems like everyone is lighting off some sort of fireworks. In Montana, the fireworks stands open a week before the holiday, and people can set them off in their driveway. While it’s all about the fun for people, many dogs have a hard time with all the noise. If your four-legged friend is one of them, here’s an easy spray you can make, to provide them some comfort:

10 drops Vetiver

10 drops Lavender

10 drops Balance

5 drops Serenity

Combine in a 2 ounce glass spray bottle. Top off with water. Shake before use. Spray around bedding and toys. Most over your pet.

Additional options: add 2 drops of each oil to a diffuser; diffuse near your dog. Apply 1-2 drops of one of the oils to the pads of your dog’s feet or the back of their neck every 1-2 hours.
