Ricotta Basil Bruschetta 1 loaf French bread 1 cup ricotta cheese 4 drops lemon essential oil 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper 15-20 basil leaves 1/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Slice bread into 1/2” slices. Toast the slices for 5 minutes on each side in a 350 degree oven. Combine ricotta, lemon essential oil, salt and pepper. Once bread is cool, spread a heaping teaspoon of the ricotta mixture on each slice. Top each piece of bread with a basil leaf, a drizzle of honey, and sprinkle with red pepper.
