Roasted Asparagus

Do you love asparagus as much as I do???! I’m always looking for new ways to prepare it, to keep the flavors interesting. This recipe is really simple, and tastes so good!


1 pound fresh asparagus

1/4 cup orange juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

2-4 drops Ginger essential oil

1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper


Preheat oven to 400. Prepare asparagus by snapping off the woody end. Arrange asparagus spears on a greased, rimmed baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, essential oil, olive oil and mustard. Pour over asparagus and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; toss again. Roast for 15 minutes, or until tender, stirring half way through the cook time.
