There’s this salad that I love, at one of my local restaurants. Because of the shelter-in-place requirement, I haven’t been able to have it in ages! I decided to try and re-create it at home. It’s a combination of mixed greens, chopped tomatoes, mozzarella, tomatoes and a dollop of pesto sauce. Here’s the dressing I made to go over it:
2 tablespoons heavy cream (or creme fraiche)
1-2 tablespoonsbalsamic vinegar
1 drop Black Pepper essential oil
1 drop Lemon essential oil
Whisk ingredients together. Drizzle over salad, to taste. Enjoy!
