Slow-Cooker Chicken Teriyaki
I love an easy weeknight recipe...and this one delivers!
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup sesame oil
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons molasses
4 drops Wild Orange essential oil
2 drops Ginger essential oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 white onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons cold water
1 1/2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and then pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours. Slice chicken, then return to crock pot and toss with the sauce. Serve over rice/ sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
