Sun Spray
This weekend is going to be HOT (in the 80’s), and I’m not quite ready for that. In case you don’t know this about me, I enjoy being outdoors, but my skin takes a while to adjust to the sun. The challenge is that I don’t like all the chemicals in the commercially made tanning lotions...and I hate the chalkiness of the natural ones. Here’s a spray that you can make with ingredients you can easily attain...and it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized!
40 drops Hawaiian Sandalwood
30 drops Helichrysum
15 drops Lavender
20 drops Yarrow|Pom
In a 5 ounce continuous mist spray bottle, combine the essential oils. Top off with Avocado oil. Shake well and spray on any skin that will be exposed to the sun and rub in. If you sweat a lot, or go in the water, you’ll need to reapply (this isn’t waterproof).
